Act 1 of 2006–the Taxpayer Relief Act–involved tax shifts, gaming money, homestead exemptions, and an index for how high school taxes could increase without separate action.  How have school taxes in Allegheny County been affected by the Act?  Our latest report examines that question and can be read here.
