In mid-May of this year we wrote a Brief congratulating the Mayor of Pittsburgh for offering a proposal to have every piece of legislation and every executive order be accompanied by a fiscal impact statement.
Based on a review of the last two agendas for City Council (see August 30th and September 7th on this calendar), each bill now has a link that takes the reader to the fiscal impact statement.
